Serena: Hi! I'm Serena and this is my attempt to get my solo exposition funded by strangers...
Inner Hedgehog:?!!
I thought we'd agreed we don't like strangers, Serena.
S: Oh, no... Here we go again... Hi hedgehog, is nice to see you too.
IH: What's wrong with you?!? You know I'm not comfortable with them around... They are so strange and different... (words fade away)
S: Let's try this once more. Hi, I'm Serena and this is my Inner Hedgehog.
It doesn't really enjoy meeting new people
It's easily scared by the unknown, like all animals, humans included.
Fear is not harmless, as we know...
IH: We fear strangers! Drive them away!
S: ... but fear without ignorance is nothing.
That's why I decided to start a research about strangers and help my Inner Hedgehog to stop living in fear.
IH: Hey! What's this smell?
S: We will soon embark in an adventure to discover the top ten countries of provenance of those strangers that come to Europe through Italy, the country I live in.
Since Hedgehog loves food, we'll be cooking traditional dishes from each country
documenting the process on the project's website, sharing recipes, stories and thoughts with any stranger who would like to
join us... Would you?
